When your pool reaches 25 members, new people can’t join until you upgrade. Upgrading takes about a minute: go to your pool settings, pick a Pro tier by max member count, and complete a one-time payment. Your picks, leaderboard, and all existing data stay exactly as they were.

When to upgrade

You need to upgrade when your pool has hit the free-tier cap of 25 members and someone new is trying to join. Toqui will show a notice in your pool settings when you’ve reached the limit.
Upgrade before you hit the cap so your group doesn’t have to wait. If you’re pretty sure you’ll have more than 25 people, go Pro when you create the pool or shortly after.

How to upgrade

1

Open your pool settings

In your pool, click the Settings menu, then select Upgrade.
2

Pick a Pro tier

Choose the tier that covers your expected group size. You can always upgrade to a higher tier later — you’ll only pay the difference.
TierMax membersPrice
Small Office50$125
Medium Office100$250
Large Office250$625
Large Company500$1,250
Max Pro1,000$2,500
3

Complete payment

You’re taken to a secure checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm. The payment is one-time — no subscription, no recurring charge.
4

Done — new members can join immediately

Your pool is upgraded instantly. Share your invite link and new members can join right away.
Payment is a one-time charge per pool for the entire tournament — not a subscription. You won’t be billed again for this pool.

Upgrading again mid-tournament

If your group keeps growing and you hit your Pro tier’s cap, you can upgrade to the next tier at any time.
  • You pay only the difference between what you’ve already paid and the price of the new tier.
  • No data is lost. Every pick, score, and leaderboard position carries over.
  • Nobody has to rejoin. Existing members stay in the pool automatically.
For example, if you started on the 50-member tier (125)andwanttomovetothe100membertier(125) and want to move to the 100-member tier (250), you pay 125atcheckoutnotthefull125 at checkout — not the full 250.

Pricing math

At the 100-member tier, the one-time cost works out to $2.50 per person for the entire tournament — every match from the opener to the final.
If you’re not sure which tier to pick, choose the next size up from your current membership. It’s cheaper to start slightly higher than to pay two smaller upgrade fees.
