Your Toqui profile controls how other pool members see you on leaderboards and pick summaries. You can update your display name and pick an emoji avatar at any time — no profile photo required.

What you can set

Display name

The name other members see next to your picks and ranking. Change it any time from your profile settings.

Emoji avatar

Pick any emoji from the built-in set and pair it with a background color. No image uploads needed.

How to update your display name

Open your profile

Go to toqui.app/app/profile or tap your avatar in the top-right corner of any page and select Profile.

Edit your display name

Click the Display name field and type your new name.

Save

Click Save changes. Your new name appears across all your pools immediately.

How to pick or change your emoji avatar

Your avatar is an emoji paired with a background color — no photo uploads, no cropping tools.

Open your profile

Go to toqui.app/app/profile.

Click your current avatar

A picker opens showing the full emoji set.

Choose an emoji

Tap any emoji to select it.

Choose a background color

Pick from the color swatches below the emoji grid.

Save

Click Save changes to apply your new avatar.
Your avatar is shared across every pool you’re in. If you’re a member of multiple pools, all of them show the same emoji and color.

Sign-in methods

Toqui supports three ways to sign in. You choose one when you create your account.
Click Continue with Google on the sign-in page. Toqui uses your Google account for authentication — your Google profile photo is not imported as your Toqui avatar.
Regardless of how you sign in, your display name and emoji avatar are what other members see — not your Google or Facebook name.
